Additional pendulum simulations:

Comparison of two chaotic pendula: This applet runs upon entering the page and shows two moving pendula with a control panel for the user to set physical parameters, and simultaneously plots trajectories in phase space (dynamic scaling). Things to notics: see how sensitivity to initial conditions develops; notice that eventually motion always looks different;
the pendulum bob turns white when moving fast.

Chaotic Pendulum: Another chaotic pendulum, different approach. This applet simulates the behaviour of a damped sinusoidally driven pendulum. The pendulum displays periodic and chaotic behaviour depending on the values of the forcing and damping parameters. Transition to chaos can be observed by applying small increments to the forcing amplitude.

Double Pendulum: Here the pendulums are coupled. You can set the angle of the center pendulum by draging it. The left-side scrollbar changes the length of the center pendulum and the right-side changes that of the outer pendulum.

Driven Pendulum: Another "twist" on the theme - a driven pendulum

Multiple Pendulum: More on chaos and 2 multiple segmented swinging pendula.
